How long has it been since working on a script made you smile?

Amanda Graham...just gave me more thorough and comprehensive notes on my comedy pilot than the tenured professor I wrote it for. Huge shoutout, because she rocks! A bright light during this weird, grim time.

You picked up on my fears and my gripes with the story. There's a lot for me to think about now but I'm really excited to revisit the world and characters again. Thank you for wording all these notes in such a constructive and encouraging way.

THANK YOU so much for all of that incredible feedback. I've read through it a couple of times and now want to read through it while putting together an action plan. That was an incredible amount of amazing feedback and I love the categorising of it all - super for my brain to start to map further.

As a script editor, Amanda knows her craft; where the beats should be, how to add the funny, and when dialogue needs a little tweak to sound believable.

In Development
I love to write complex characters who rebel against ridiculous power systems. And characters who feel lost and need to figure out who they are.
My scripts are very high-energy, packed with sensory content, and conversational action lines.
Whether you love or hate what I write one thing is guaranteed- you won’t forget it.

Ghostwriting
It's a lot of fun to ghostwrite and punch-up/gloss scripts and content. I can’t talk specifics because of NDAs and agreements, but I can tell you the work includes:
Writing a film adaptation of a best-selling romantic comedy novel for an American production comedy. It shoots in 2026.
Writing material for two international touring comedians with streamer specials; one American, one British.
Glossing scripts privately for writers who don’t have the time or who want a joke punch-up.
Punching up a British production company's comedy development scripts and decks.

Script Editing
I've script edited and given notes for over 90 short, feature, and TV projects for BBC, Channel 4, the Zero Gravity Group, and individuals including a Saturday Night Live employee, animators, film directors, and comedians.
Because I am a writer and have worked in production for 16+ years, I understand that being a script editor means helping the writer the create the best script possible.
You’ll never have to ask for the note behind the note.
My notes are clean, thorough, detailed, and designed to both reassure the production company/channel that the project will exceed their expectations AND excite the writer about lifting their words to their full potential.
