About me…

My whole life I’ve been surrounded by stories.

• My Grandad told amazing stories.

• The cult church I was dragged to was packed with stories.

• Intercollegiate debate made me research legal stories.

• Working documentaries was constructing historical stories.

• Standup comedy was framing ridiculous stories.

• Tech’s complex ideas needs interesting stories.

• TV & Film is built on stories.

Stories are the way I connect with people. Doesn’t matter if it’s a commissioner I’m pitching to. Or companies and festivals that want to something different, but need the right words to do it. Or a tech team that needs a story to make them exciting to an investor. Or baring bits of my soul during one of my talks.

I’ve spent 17+ years working across film, TV, comedy, tech, and education. And through all of it, the lesson is the same:

The people who can tell their story clearly and vividly get the meetings, the collaborations, the opportunities, and get remembered. The ones who can’t, stay stuck.

I like to tip that balance.
