A large silver mic in the foreground. In the background is a blurred out audience.

Make them laugh. Make them think. Make them remember.

I work with festivals, businesses, production companies, universities, and organisations that want sessions on networking, audacity, storytelling, pitching, writing, collaborations, and more. All delivered in a way that’s vivid, funny, and actually useful.

What you get from my sessions…

An audience should feel AMAZING by the end of a talk. They should also know what to do next.

The easiest way to get this result is to look them straight in the eye and tell the truth – about their industry, about ourselves, and about what actually works.

My sessions are:

Vivid: full of real stories, examples, and language people remember.

Funny: because if they’re not smiling, they’re not listening.

Practical: every talk gives people things they can actually DO, not just feel good about.

Anti-boredom: designed for people who hate generic, robotic, death‑by‑PowerPoint sessions.

Whether it’s a keynote, workshop, or panel, the goal is the same: your people leave clearer, more confident, and more connected.

Who I most often work with…

I’m booked by people who are responsible for audiences, talent, or communication. They’ve either tried sessions before which turned out to be boring or fairly useless. Or they didn’t realise until now that there was a speaker who has transformed 17 years in the Film &TV and comedy industries into unique, memorable sessions for a variety of audiences.

Festivals, industry orgs, and creative uni programmes

Festival and talent scheme directors who need proven sessions on networking, storytelling, writing, etc. that people actually remember and use.

Broadcasters and production companies that want internal talks or workshops to help teams communicate, pitch, and collaborate better.

Industry bodies and events looking for a speaker who understands the messy reality of creative careers – and can turn it into something useful.

Busy creative uni department heads who need an industry person to fill in the gaps.

Businesses and business organisations, industry bodies, NGOs

Founders, marketing leads, and L&D teams who know their brand sounds like everyone else’s and want to fix it at the story level.

Companies that need pitch training, storytelling, or communication sessions that don’t feel like corporate training.

Teams that want practical tools (not motivational posters) to help people speak, present, and connect more clearly and confidently.

If you weren’t too keen on your last event because it felt safe, forgettable, lacked actionable takeways, and sounded a bit robotic, we’ll get on very well.

Networking cheat codes

Most of us naturally suck at networking. It’s not our fault.

Maybe we weren’t told how. Or we died of boredom when someone tried to teach us. Or we simply hate it because it feels fake.

I made every single mistake possible networking, including not networking. And it set my career back a decade in an industry that completely relies on it.

So I reverse-engineered all my mistakes, combined it with my standup skills, marketing experience, and special interest in communication to create a system that works with ACTIONABLE how-tos.

A system specially created for people with obstacles in any industry. With 100% positive feedback over 4 years! How many people can say that?

Audacity

Here’s the thing. There are people who have AUDACITY.

They’re the people who have been given what they want. Always had the money. Few or no obstacles. Never had to hustle to make ends meet.

They get what they want, because they move through the world believing that they deserve it.

What’s that like, right? No clue. I had no concept of what that would feel like in my thought process, speech, what I said, and how I moved.

Most of us aren’t born with audacity. We can’t imagine actually having what we want. The biggest goals we have.

That’s why we NEED audacity. We need it to get us where we want to go. We need to start moving like we can get it all.

This talk tells why and how.
